Overview

To help secure Socorro Tequila as a Tronic client, I led the design and development of a fully functional prototype directly in our live production environment. This was more than a visual mock — it was an interactive proof-of-concept built to feel real, tailored to Socorro’s brand, audience, and business goals.

The result? A demo experience that played a direct role in winning the account.

Discovery

Before designing, I conducted research into Socorro’s brand, customer base, and distribution model. I wanted the experience to feel specific — something that could speak to their core audience and not just look good, but feel purposeful.

Key insights included:

  • Their focus on authenticity, simplicity, and nightlife culture

  • A younger customer base likely to engage through exclusive, in-person events

  • Opportunities to gamify sampling, social sharing, and repeat engagement

Design Strategy

Using Tronic Studio’s production tools, I structured the prototype around a “Tequila Social Club” concept — giving users rewards, event access, and missions they could complete for exclusive perks.

I focused on:

  • Visual alignment with Socorro’s brand assets and tone

  • A tap-to-engage layout for mobile-first experiences

  • Reward offers and trending journeys that felt playful and real

  • Simple entry points: no app downloads, no gimmicks — just rewards

Execution

I built and launched the prototype directly in the Tronic Studio environment, featuring:
✅ A branded landing screen with custom header and messaging
✅ Live offers like “15% Off Socorro Tequila”
✅ A custom journey: “Rate the Marg Crawl” — a playful engagement mechanic tailored to event culture
✅ A fully responsive layout that worked on desktop and mobile

This demo was live and clickable — not just a concept deck — which made it easy for stakeholders to experience it exactly like a customer would.

Outcome

✅ Helped close the deal with Socorro Tequila
✅ Validated Tronic’s end-to-end journey capabilities with real content
✅ Provided a reusable template for future liquor/beverage clients
✅ Strengthened internal alignment on how design can support pre-sales efforts
